After years of publication from the heart of Springtown, TX. The Springtown Epigraph was eventually combined with the Azle News and Springtown lost their dedicated local newspaper. After further consolidation the Springtown Epigraph/Azle News were acquired and became the Tri County Reporter.

Burtnett Media purchased the rights to the Springtown Epigraph in March of 2025 and has relaunched the newspaper as a dedicated source for news and local community coverage in Springtown, TX.
